Batiste Heavenly volume dry shampoo💆🏽💁🏽

Happy February lovelies! Hope you've all had a fabulous weekend, I am going to be reviewing Batiste's Heavenly Volume Dry Shampoo,

 As you can see the can is super pretty with pink and purple patterns that really catch your eye, it also looks pretty in your bag or on your dressing table.

Batiste is pretty much the only dry shampoo I turn to when I'm not washing my hair, Not only does it refresh your hair, but it gives it a bit of life too! I was a bit sceptical to the claim at first that it can also add volume, but since I have naturally straight, flat hair i thought I had nothing to lose.

I used this on Saturday night before I went out and yes, it does deliver show stopping volume, if you know me you know I like my back combing and height, so this is perfect for me. Like all other dry shampoo's in there range it is white but does disapear at the stroke of a brush. 

I picked this up from tesco for £2.99 but I'm sure you can get it from all kinds of retailers, boots, super drug etc. This is my hair on Sunday after using it on the Saturday night and as you can see it is still full of volume. 

I think this may be my new favourite from Batiste. I had a thing for the coloured deep brown spray. I'll hold tight and wait until hey make a brown volume spray! 😏

Here are some of my favourite January lip colours!

👄Kinda sexy MAC👄

My latest addition to my collection. Bloody gorgeous! A neutral pinky rose with a Matte finish. To me this is an Angelina Jolie lip colour, it makes my lips appear plumper and fuller. Texture wise, as a matte - it's kinda high maintenance. You need to prep those lips by exfoliating and applying lipbalm to fix the issue of patchy lips. It's creamy and glides like butter, but a bit drying after a while, still LOVE it though!

👄Velvet Teddy MAC👄-

My everyday go to lippy. This lipstick always seems to be sold out but luckily I managed to get my hands on one a while ago and I love it. A great every day nude that can be worn over a lipliner or without. Suits my olive/ish  skintone perfectly and looks so elegant and chic. Also matte finish so can be slightly drying so prep those lips well!  

👄Bitch perfect Charlotte Tilbury👄- Well I was bought this little gem for Christmas. Charlotte's lipstick range K.I.S.S.I.N.G are supposed to give a rich full colour, luminous finish and keep your lips smooth and hydrated. It is an opaque finish with a satin shine on it, making your  lips appear fuller. They also have a slight vanilla scent to them 💕💕

All 3 lipsticks are pretty similar in colour with Velvet Teddy being the darkest. I Love them all, What are your January favourties? Xxx

Hoar cross hall

Hello lovelies! 

For my boyfriends birthday we went to Hoar Cross Hall for a full spa day, it was amazing! 

We arrived at 10am and were allowed to stay until 8pm, with a three course lunch at 2.00pm and a 55 minute winter remedy treatment, It was like heaven! I thought I would share some pictures of our experience, just in case your looking for a spa day because I would highly reccomend Hoar Cross.

The building itself is beautiful it is in fact a grade 2 listed building set in the Derbyshire countryside.

They have 2 pools, a vitality pool and a hydrotherapy pool, Numerous jacuzzi's and sauna's including a new naudic suite which comprised of a salt inhalation room, aromatherapy, cold & hot douche's, steam rooms and chill out area's.

It was utter perfection and so relaxing, just what we needed.

Urban decay setting spray!

Hi girlies! 

For Christmas my lovely boyfriend got me the Urban Decay all nighter setting spray.

This spray is the holy grail !! 

If your like me when you do your makeup and go out somewhere your face slowly slides off you leaving with creases under your eyes and looking bedraggled, this for me is due to my oily skin, so when I saw this it was a must to try!

If I had known about this before it would have solved so many problems! I went out for new year and sprayed this on my face at about 8.30 and usually by about 1am in the club toilet your face has slid off and you have to redo it as best you can. There was no need to redo anything including my lip liner, it was all still in place, amazing! 

This product is quite pricey but it sure is worth it, it's £21.00. You only need a few sprays so I can see it lasting a long time.

If you don't listen to me expect to receive this as a birthday/ Christmas present because I just know you will love it!

hey beauty's! 

Hope you all had a good christmas and new year, I've been really lazy recently it's time to get back on it! I went shopping today and bought some bits! So I thought i would share my purchases with you! 

I picked up these gorgeous boots from River Island for £45.00. I have had my eye on them for a while and decided to finally buy them today! The heel is chunky which makes them really comfortable and easy to walk in! 

I also found this Khaki nail varnish for £1.99 in New Look! I painted my toes last night cause I couldn't wait to see the colour! It's beautiful 😍

Look at these gorgeous Single earrings! And for £2! Perfecto!

I rustled through the sales and found this white shirt that will be perfect with my fur gilet that I got for Christmas! This was also a steal at £10, thanks New Look! 

I loovee the New look makeup range, Pure Colour. This lip liner is gorgeous and looks really natural. It was also time for a new foundation brush as the hairs started falling out of my old one, it did last a good year though! I paid with my boots points aswell so it's free right?! 😉

Last thing was this gorgeous fur scarf from new look. It was £24.99 but was in the sale reduced to £10! It's so warm and have it on as we speak!

Brush wash!

Time to wash the brushes! 

If any of you are like me cleaning makeup brushes doesn't sound like the most appealing job but I can't stress how important it is, I can't stand it when your brushes get clogged full of makeup, just think of all the oil and bacteria that starts to build up inside the bristles  GROSS! and then we go and swirl it on our faces! 

I tend to wash them every three weeks or if I feel one needs a more regular wash I will wash inbetween, for example my foundation brush takes a beating and is one of the main brushes so i usually do that every other week. Clean brushes is the key to clean looking makeup.  

There are tonnes of makeup removers on the market that you can use and even tutorials on how to but it's really not that complicated! 

Firstly, run your brush under Luke warm water with the bristles facing downwards, avoid getting water into the very base of the brush as this is where the glue holds your brush together! 

Dispence some of your chosen product into the palm of your hand, about a penny size will do. I'm doing this at work so I can use a deep cleansing shampoo. You can use anything from antibacterial hand soap to your hair shampoo. Some makeup products such as oil based foundations  can be hard to wash out of your brushes , applying Washing up liquid before you dampen your brushes Is great for this as it will loosen that up before you wash it. 

Next swirl it in your hand into a nice lather and rinse, repeat this step until the water runs clear. Rinse again under Luke warm water. 

When your happy that it's all out, Squeeze off the excess with a paper towel or a towel and leave to dry lying down to allow the water to drain off them! 

Et voila!!! 

So next time you look at your brushes, give this a go! I can assure you your makeup will go on smoother!!
