FLAWLESS Revolution Eyeshadow Palette

I must tell you all about this fabulous little palette I have found.

The brand 'Revolution' has taken the makeup industry by storm in the past few months and I can see why! All of their products I have tried so far have been amazing, stay tuned for my next blog post on their contour and highlighting kit!

This Eyeshadow palette comes in beautiful rose gold packaging, which was what really caught my eye. It also has a mirror running along the full length of the palette which is what I look for when choosing eye palettes.

The exterior has a black glossy finish to it which makes it easy to wipe clean after use. It also has a snap shut function on the front so there is no risk of leaving it open and spoiling your eyeshadows.

It has 32 different eyeshadow colours with different textures to each one, some matte, ideal for bases and others metallic/sparkly.
The colours are a great variety including day and night shades which means its great for the week and weekends and there is no need to carry multiple eye shadows in your bag!

As you can see by the usage on this i love the Copper Shimmer shade in this palette. It's a lovely copper colour and being blue/green eyed i like to use this to make my eyes stand out. Im excited to try the rest, Red night looks like it could be lovely with a black smokey eye.

Here is a look I have created with this palette using colours, paper (top left) , highlight (top row, 4th in), Copper shimmer (3rd row, 4th in).

Now, where to get it and the price! I picked this up in my local Superdrug shop for drum roll please .... £8! You can't go wrong with this girls, the pigment's in the shadows are amazing, I would say it is on par if not better than the Naked palette's!!

Have you tried any of the revolution eye palettes?

until next time

KIKO ultimate pen

Welcome back to my page,

Today I wanted to share my recent find with you, It is the KIKO ultimate pen, long lasting black eyeliner.

If you are anything like me liquid eyeliner scares me! Infact I'm rubbish at it, so this tip make the whole experience 10 times easier. I love this and I can tell I will use this as an everyday/handbag liquid liner when your out and about and doing things, The design of the pen makes it so effortless to use and easy to make many different kinds of thick/thin liner styles. The tip is like a Berol felt tip, it bends with your pressure and it is easy to build so you can apply  much or as little as you like.

I Especially love the shape of the grip on the pen where you would usually hold it while applying the liner. The liner stays put for about 5\6 hours then it does start to smudge but nothing major.

They sell this in the KIKO stores for £6.90 which I don't think is too bad & they often have deals on, yesterday I picked one up for £4.00, thank you very much :)

Whats your favourite liquid eyeliner?

New Look Pure Colour makeup

 NEW LOOK PURE COLOUR:
Recently I have been trying out some of the makeup from the New Look Pure Colour range.
Here are some reviews on the products I have tried.

Highlighting Stick in shade 93/Pure Gold.
This product is dreamy! You can see from the photo that it is packed with super sparkly pigment. It has a creamy texture and is really easy to use as it on a roller stick. It spreads nicely and you can use it where ever you like! This was £5.99 and worth every penny!

Baked Eyeshadow.

Wow! I really recommend looking at these eyeshadows because even though they didn't have a huge range (only 5 shades) they were all very lovely shades and all wearable for the day or night.Baked for long lasting colour, this product is also super shimmery! It looks amazing on and really brings out your eye colour. You can use this wet or dry to increase the intensity of it. It is £3.99 and I've had mine for a couple of months now, you don't need much as its super shiny!

Lip liner in Dark Purple.

A lip liner for £1.99!!? Yes please! Dare I say it this eyeliner is better than MAC! It has  a soft point for easy application and has such a long lasting colour I only had to reapply a couple of times a day! It also comes of nicely with no staining. The colour is very similar to my MAC burgundy pencil and for £1.99 It's a lot cheaper!

Liquid Eye Liner in Black.

So i needed a new eye liner and thought I would give this one a try. The colour is really intense black which I love as I hate black liquid eyeliners that dry greyish. It is water resistant and stays put all day. It dry's super fast and not once has it gone above my eyelid, you know how it does when you open your eye to early!! girl probs! The brush is slanted for easy application and this one comes in at £3.99. STEAL.

I notice when I go online a lot of the products are sold out, so ID recommend visiting a larger store and seeing if they have the products in store. I'm not surprised its flying off the shelves, its brilliant!  Have you tried any of there products?

Charlotte Tilbury Contour Kit

Charlotte Tilbury Contour Kit

WOW! This contour kit is so good.

I have had this set for quite a while so I think it's time to review it!This is amazing!! Probably one of the best sets on the market.

Firstly, the packaging. It's BEAUTIFUL and makes you feel totally glamourous when you whip it out of your bag. The two best things about this product are the colors, and then the formulation of the product itself.

I have the Light to Medium version (Medium to Dark is now available...may have to get it for summer time). The bronzer is the perfect shade of bronze. It isn't too orange, brown, red, or pink. I have used it with a heavier hand to sculpt my face and also with a lighter hand as a bronzer to warm up my cheeks and it does both of these with aplomb. It also looks great with a rose or peach colored blush layered on top. The highlighter isn't gold, there is some iridescence and perhaps a hint of light peach mixed in, making it multi tonal and creates a beautiful glow on every skin. There isn't any glitter, just a nice sheen and glow.

The formula of it is powder but isn't "powdery" - it's creamy and buttery. The texture reminds me a lot of eye shadows. Both the bronzer and the highlighter colours in this set can be used as eyeshadow.

I've had this set for about 3 months now but still have alot of product left. I think I paid about £50 for it but this is a good deal to me since I will likely never hit pan (although I would buy this again in a heartbeat if I did). Highly recommend this set, and other Charlotte Tilbury makeup as they are a high-end makeup company that does not test on animals, yay!!

Highlighting shimmer brick

SeventeeN  Instant glow
shimmer Brick / RAD OR BAD?

I purchased this shimmer brick a while back from boots as I was in  search of a nice glow to go on the top of my cheeks as a highlighter. It was £4.99 which wasn't too bad I didn't think! IVe been using it for the past couple of weeks and really got on with it, so much so I wanted to share it with you lovelies.

This comes in two shades pink bronze and gold bronze. I went for gold bronze. It comes in four different layers of bronzed colours going from light to dark.  It's lovely as it doesn't go too dark when you first put it on and you can layer it to as dark as you like. You can use them all together with a rage brush or you can use them individually to contour and highlight. I also like to use them as eyeshadows individually.

Here is what it looks like on my hand.

And here it is in the pot..

I would defiantly reccomend this product as it's quite cheap and just as if not better than some of the other more expensive alternatives.

You can get yours here http://m.boots.com/h5/cat_hub?path=%2Fen%2FSEVENTEEN-Instant-Glow-Shimmer-Brick_1321239%2F&colId=Gold_Bronze&unCountry=uk

Cream Contour kit!

So this beauty came in the post to me today.
God l love the post man 😍

Contour  kits are EVERYWHERE at the moment. They are soooo fabulous and can really make a noticeable difference to your face.  I've previously used a few kits including the sleek contour kit which after using this is actually quite hard to blend in. It can sometimes leave lines on your face so I decided it was time to try a cream based kit. Thats when I found this baby! An absolute steal on E bay for £3.99! Yep thats right £3.99! and FREE postage. I was shocked too.  At this price I was quite sceptical of how good this product was going to be, I wondered how long it would stop on my face and how they would look when applied. I must say I am pleasantly surprised, It's fab! There is 15  different shades in this case, each the same size and a similar size to a MAC eyeshadow. There are 13 contouring shades and 2 that are correctors. The licac shade is to help any discolouration in your face, and the green for any redness.

so go go go girls and grab these while you still can,  well worth the money.

get yours here. They are almost gone on Ebay from this certain seller. OOh!! I forgot to mention they give you a gorgeous flat angled brush to use also, although I haven't tried that yet.

happy contouring!

if you'd like to see any of my other posts on contouring and how i apply the sleek contouring kit check out my other posts here  and here !

comments welcome, have you got one? what do you think of it?

thanks for reading

Sleek eyeshadow pallette review

hi guys!-hope you've all had a fabulous easter!I've bought a new eyeshadow palette by 'Sleek'.
All the colours look amazing! I'm going to do a quick review on a look i did with this pallete.
The palette i chose is called I- divine in 'original'. Recently  I have seen a lot of eyeshadows that are sort of coppery, my favourite is the Charlotte Tilbury's ' Dolce Vita'.  I love it, but it's rather pricey! I think it's £38 for the four eyeshadows, think i better save up :') . You can buy it here.

onto the review...

So  I was browsing in the 'Sleek' section in Boots  the other day when I stumbled across this palette.  I  have used their contouring kit for a number of years  so i had already used there products and i've always been impressed. There was  quite a few to chose from, I think ill be going back to get more and more haha. These retail at £7.99, not back considering you get 12 shades.  I picked this one as it ranges from rose golds, to green and blue. Described as "12 shades of super-pigmented, longlasting, mineral based eyeshadow, designed to suit all" I thought this would be the most versatile to try first.  I think i was also drawn to the shiny-ness of them all <3

Back row L-R: Black Cab, Royal, London Rain, The Thames, E10, Hyde Park
Front Row L-R: Cream Tea, London Eye, Big Ben, Penny Farthing, Sterling, Banksy
  • First I prepped my eyelids with an eyelid primer.  I used French Connections 'eyeshadow primer'. I got this in a christmas eye perfection set one year and its amazing.
  • Next i used a cream matte eyeshadow all over my lids. I think it was just a no7 one i have at home, sorry not sure which!
  •  I then used the colour 'cream tea' all over my lids & took it up to my brow bone. This created a nice creamy base for me to work with.
  • Next i used 'big ben' on the crease of my eyelids- creating a glittery golden base.
  • I then used the shade 'penny farthing' on the corners of my eyes and along my brow bone, this colour is gorgeous and really makes your eyes 'pop'.
  • I then lined my bottom lash line with black liner.
Overall this look is so natural and can be worn day or night, with or without eye liner.

Overall rating 5/5
This eyeshadow stayed on all day and was still shining when i was taking it off, usually shimmery shades only last a few hours on me.

So there you have it! If you haven't tried Sleek makeup before I hope this post encourages you to do so, they have some lovely things!

What do you think of the Sleek Pallette's?  xxx
